ABOUT US
FORED BC engages people and communities in activities and choices that conserve our environment and enhance understanding of sustainable natural resources management.

Through free activities for all grades K - 12, video interviews and events, FORED helps foster a balanced dialogue around environmental, cultural, social and economic values, including the essential relationship of Indigenous peoples to our natural resources. Our First Nations partners and volunteers from government, education, academia, foundations and industry support our efforts.
Canada has abundant forests & natural resources. The world relies on a stable supply of Canadian resources. Environment & economy aren’t mutually exclusive. Education is vital.
