WHO WE ARE

FORED BC engages citizens of all ages and communities in activities and choices that conserve our environment and enhance understanding of sustainable natural resources management. 

Through a variety of complimentary activities, video interviews and events, FORED helps foster a balanced dialogue around environmental, cultural, social and economic values, including the essential relationship of Indigenous peoples to our natural resources.  Our First Nations partners and many volunteers from government, education, academia, foundations and industry support our efforts.

Canada has abundant forests & natural resources. Environment & economy aren’t mutually exclusive.

Education is vital.
